How to Add Bank Details to an Invoice
Clear payment instructions help the customer use the right account and reference. Include the details needed for the agreed method, rather than every bank identifier you have.

Confirm the payment method first
Ask the customer which payment method they will use and confirm the required details with your bank or payment provider. Domestic and international transfers can require different identifiers. This guide describes invoice organization, not legal advice or a guarantee that a transfer will succeed.
Select the appropriate bank fields
A domestic transfer may need account holder, bank and account number. International instructions can include IBAN, SWIFT/BIC and beneficiary details. US ACH and wire transfers use routing information specific to the method; UK bank transfers use a sort code and account number. Use relevant SEPA instructions when that is the agreed method.
Save instructions in SimpleInvoicePDF
Open Payment details, create a named record and choose a supported type. Enter the method-specific fields, check them carefully, and keep the record active. You may choose a default record. Record limits depend on your plan.
Include the selected record in an invoice
Select payment details in the invoice form, review the rendered instructions in the preview and download the PDF. State the due date and a reference that helps you identify the payment. Changing saved instructions does not automatically rewrite a historical invoice’s captured details.
Protect sensitive information
Send the PDF to the correct billing contact and verify any requested bank-detail change through a trusted channel. Include only information needed to receive the payment. Never include bank-login passwords, authentication codes or card security codes.
Keep processing separate from instructions
ACH, SEPA, PayPal and payment-link fields describe where or how the customer should pay. SimpleInvoicePDF does not execute those payments. Confirm receipt independently, mark the invoice paid and add an income transaction when you need it in reports.
